To: Duane Reed, Minneapolis NAACP Branch President
Jesse Overton, Minneapolis NAACP Branch Treasurer
From: Doug Mann, Mpls. Executive committee member at-large
CC: Carl Breeding (branch administrator?), Booker Hodges (2nd vice-president), Patunya Cofield, (Branch Secretary), Karen Blanchard (executive committee at-large) Haywood McKerson (Executive committee at-large), Minneapolis Issues List (e-democracy project). ***Please forward to Julian Bond, Frank Humphrey, and Dennis Hayes (NAACP board chair, board vice-chair, and president / CEO)

I strongly advise branch president Duane Reed and treasurer Jesse Overton to be present at the February 25 Special Executive Committee Meeting with written reports about the findings of the MAP consultant, which were presented orally to a meeting of executive committee members on Feb. 8, 2005, and a written report from the MAP consultant.

Everything said at this meeting should be on the record, i.e., multiple audio tape recording devices should be allowed, and no member in good standing of the NAACP should be excluded from the meeting.
